The student listed in Expulsion Case No. 07-224, is in violation of an accepted Expulsion Agreement for an alternative school placement.  On January 19, 2007, the student listed in Expulsion Case No. 07-224, violated School Board Policy 5.32, (1) (j) Zero Tolerance, Possession, Use, or Sale of Controlled Substances.

That in accordance with provisions of Sections 1006.07 (1) (a) (b), Florida Statutes and School Board Policy 5.34, the holding of a hearing having been waived by the student/parent, the recommendation as specified in Expulsion Case No. 07-224, to expel the student referenced therein from the Sarasota County Schools, be approved effective immediately until January 30 of the 2007-2008 academic year.
